On Monday, six matches of the tournament women were played In the semi-final to Magdalena Szczytowicz and Carolina Bednarek Kirszenstein Carolina and Alexander Chyła joined. And it was this couple after 3-set duel that advanced to the final. The line-up of the second semifinal was by created Dorota Strąg with Katarzyna Kociołek and Martyna Wardak with Aleksandra Theis.  Victorious in this competition came out present representatives of Poland, which played together again after two tournaments. And just as in the first three competitions in this year series, they also proved to be the best in Gdansk. However, the victory did not come as easily as you might expect after losing the first set smoothly. Kirszenstein and Chyła, who had to wade into qualifying to start in the main event, rose in the second game and lost the match only in the tie-break. The podium was filled in by Alexander Theis and the best contestant of the whole series - Martyn Wardak. The men tournament also did not run out of surprises. Martin Ociepski and Kamil Radzikowski eliminated in the quarterfinals Adam Parceja and Mateusz Radojewski. In the semifinals, however, they had to acknowledge the superiority of players who have received a "wild card" for the tournament in Gdansk. Stanislaw Wawrzyńczyk and Peter Ilewicz in the decisive duel met with Dominik Witczak and Lukasz Kaczmarek. And it is the latter ones that repeated his result from Chorzow and again won the Open Beach tournament series. Bronze medals were won by Jędrzej Brożyniak and Bartłomiej Dzikowicz, who also received the MVP award of this year's Beach Open, sponsored by SK bank.
