MICROPROCESSOR TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER RT-08 SAC is a device intended to operate heating sources in heat accumulation systems, whose task is to optimize the combustion process and maintain the embers phase as long as possible in the combustion chamber in order to most efficiently transfer the received heat to the accumulation elements and their protection against a prematurely loss of the heat. Smooth control of the air damper that supplies air to the furnace (that's the main factor contributing to the control of the combustion process) is based on the measurement of the temperature directly inside the combustion chamber. This allows to most favourably select a commensurate dose of air, which is necessary in the combustion process to obtain from the fuel a maximum dose of energy. Additionally, this controller has the capability to operate the flap drive of chimney to increase the chimney draught during the firing-up phase and a possible bypass of the accumulation elements during the burnout phase, which prevents them from cooling down. The controller has also an alarm module, which at the time of power failure in the power system activates a full opening of the air damper in order to completely and as quickly as possible burn out the fuel charge. A failure of the system is also indicated by an audible and visual signal (red light on the control panel). Due to the specificity of this type of furnaces a free relay contact was used in the controller, which allows you to connect any device controlling the concentration of carbon monoxide (CO) in a room, right near the furnace. This model also has got an additional programmable relay so you can control other devices working in the system (support heating, ventilation, and the like).
The basic features of the controller:
- Control of the air damper supplying air to the combustion chamber based on the measured temperature in the furnace.
- Control of the flap regulating the chimney draught.
- Control of other devices cooperating with the installation (support heating, ventilation, etc.).
- Battery backup power support of the air damper in case of power failure.
- Co-operation with any device controlling the concentration of carbon monoxide (CO) in the room.
